Although some may disagree about where our host Victor belongs on a list of possible future husbands, one thing is for sure...He does in fact know how to cook.
He cooked us a beautiful meal last night out of a hodge-podge of groceries. So on top of a free place to stay, our welcoming tour or Monterrey, a night out under the anti-full moon, free medical advice and so much more, he even cooks for us! i will offer only one anecdote from our weekend in the NC:
Caelia: I just saw a real waem!
Jackie: lamb? bam? what did you see?
Caelia: no, no, no, a waem! you know, it's like a puppy but gross . . . chickens eat it . . a waem!
if you can't figure out what a waem is, you'll have to wait til you get back.

You didn't say goodbye which... ok, you had to hit the road before we forced you to stay yet another night or you would've moved in with Victor or something...
Still, great times with you... It was very nice having you around. I hope that you encounter much more fun ahead.
